Investigation into improper conduct allegations to wrap up in November: TRU
KAMLOOPS — Thompson Rivers University says an investigation into complaints of inappropriate conduct against a current and former senior administrator should be wrapped up by November.
In February of 2021, anonymous complainants came forward to TRU’s Board of Governors, alleging discrimination and harassment on the part of Vice-President of Finance and Administration Matt Milovick and Vice-President of People and Culture Larry Phillips. Phillips has since left the university.
A Board subcommittee has retained an independent investigation team to look into the complaints.
In an update sent to media Friday (Sept. 9), TRU says the arms-length investigation has interviewed a comprehensive list of people over the past 11 months.
