KAMLOOPS — Residents in the South Thompson region may feel a little short of breath right now due to the smoke lingering in the air.

On Saturday (Sept. 3), Environment Canada issued a Smoky Skies Bulletin statement for the South Thompson region.

The statement reads, “Many regions of BC are being impacted or are likely to be impacted by wildfire smoke over the next 24-48 hours.”

Wildfire smoke impacts are present or expected to occur across much of the interior and northeast.
