KAMLOOPS — A man with an injured leg was rescued from Guerin Creek Wednesday (Aug. 31) afternoon.
Kamloops RCMP told CFJC Today officers attended Guerin Creek Way for a well-being check and heard screams from the gully. Police say they found a man nearly 400 metres up from the creek.
Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) say they used rope and a basket stretcher to lift him up from the creek. KFR says the man injured his femur and was unable to walk. He was later transferred to hospital.
