Broncos fall to Rams in dominant outing Saturday

KAMLOOPS — The reigning national champion Langley Rams weren’t to be messed with on Saturday (August 20) as they beat the Kamloops Broncos 24-6.

Kamloops’ win streak couldn’t propel them to a win over the Rams but still aren’t below the .500 mark for the season. The Broncos are 2-2 on the year so far

The quick-hit offense of the Rams proved to be too much for Kamloops as the Broncos’ only scores were in the first half. Langley improves to 1-3 and gets in the win column for the first time this season.

The Canadian Junior Football League’s season is far from over as the Broncos take to the road to Victoria to play a home-and-home series against the Westshore Rebels next weekend.

Kamloops returns the following weekend to play the second game of the series.
