LYTTON — After enduring a devastating wildfire in 2021, a key community event is back at the end of August.

On August 27 and 28, the Lytton River Festival features musicians, live dancing, artisans, children’s events and activities, “make and take” arts and crafts sessions with local knowledge keepers, cultural displays and performances, shlahal, games, chicken poop bingo and a community potluck meal.

The event takes place at the Stein Valley Nlaka’pamux School and everyone is invited to experience the fun.

Nonie McCann, Festival Secretary, knows the public will show out.
