KAMLOOPS — A man wanted on warrants out of Saskatchewan was recently arrested in Kamloops, thanks to a tip from transit police.
Earlier this month, Kamloops RCMP say they received information from the tip and continued their investigation, eventually locating the accused man at a residence along McGill Road on July 19.
Police say 50-year-old Christopher Douglas Birkbeck was remanded in custody to appear in Saskatchewan court for charges including identity theft, personation with intent, fraud, failure to comply, and more.
