Kamloops man reaches World Series of Poker main event final table
LAS VEGAS — A Kamloops man has reached the final table in the World Series of Poker main event in Las Vegas.
Aaron Duczak is one of ten players who remain at the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em Main Event World Championship at the 2022 World Series of Poker, taking place at the Bally’s and Paris casinos. The tournament started with 8,663 players.
The final table typically sees nine players competing, but after a marathon Day 7 that ended at 6:00 a.m. local time Thursday (July 14), tournament organizers decided to reconvene with ten players on a single table on Friday afternoon.
Duczak sits fourth in chip count among the final ten competitors, with 56 million.
