KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP had a busy weekend, responding to 377 calls between 12:00 a.m. Saturday (July 9) and 9:00 a.m. Monday. These are the more significant calls reported by the detachment:

A disturbance call turned into a fire call Saturday afternoon.
At about 1:30 p.m., officers were called to the area of First Avenue and Lorne Street near the Riverside Park bandshell for a disturbance. En route, officers were told the suspect in the disturbance was being assaulted by another man.
