Person of interest caught on camera in Kamloops stolen vehicle investigation

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: RCMP now say the female identified is no longer a person of interest.

EARLIER: Kamloops RCMP would like your help tracking down two people of interest in a stolen vehicle investigation.

The vehicle, a green Dodge truck, was reported stolen from the 100-block of Cedar Street on June 25 at about 4:25 p.m.

Investigators have learned the truck was spotted in Little Fort on the same day it was stolen. It was recovered on June 29 on Westlynn Drive in Westmount.

“Surveillance captured images of a man and a woman seen with the truck after it had been stolen,” said Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn in a news release. “Police are trying to identify the two to help further the investigation.”
