Lytton issues water restrictions and water quality advisory
LYTTON — The Village of Lytton issued a water quality advisory as well as water restrictions on Friday (June 3).
The water quality advisory is due to “equipment not working”, according to an update posted to the city’s website.
“Until notified, users with weakened immune systems, and/or wishing additional protection should take precautions when drinking, washing fruits [and] vegetables, making beverages or ice, or when brushing teeth,” reads the website.
Additionally, the Village is asking residents to reduce water consumption. Watering of lawns is not permitted. Gardens and flowerbeds may be watered if the hose is fitted with a restrictive device.
