January 9, 1945 – May 11, 2022

On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, Patricia May Marcynuik (Pat), born January 9, 1945, loving mother to 4 children, passed away at the age of 77 after a 4 week battle with illness.

She is survived by her three daughters, Shelly (Roger) Tessier, Sheryl (Bob) Smith, Sandra (Michael) Jodoin and her son, Pawlo (Candace) Marcynuik, her siblings, Brian Clark and Ivan Clark, and her many amazing grandchildren (Curtis, Tyrel, Elissa, Stephanie, Bo-Rayanne, Sydney, Joshua and Morgan) and great-grandchildren (Liam and Keira; Reece and Max; Daylan, Harvey and Maverick; Taylor, Kylie, Mykala; Benjamin; Kai) and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her mother Mary and her father, Victor, her husband Paul, and by her grandson, Ronnie.

Pat was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on January 9, 1945. After moving to BC, she settled in Pritchard in 1972 with her husband Paul and resided there much of her adult life until she sold the family home and moved to Kamloops. She spent her entire adult life working in restaurants, pubs and catering. Her true passion was to shower her family with meals and baking. If there was ever a wedding or special occasion hiring out the preparation of the food was never an option. Pat also loved to spend time working with her flower gardens.

A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 12:00 pm in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Tom Lawson officiating.
