Salmon Arm RCMP looking for suspect who groped three women Thursday

SALMON ARM, B.C. — RCMP in Salmon Arm are investigating an unusual sexual assault complaint.

According to an RCMP news release, the incident happened on Thursday (May 12) at about 5:00 p.m. Three women near the corner of 30th Street NE and Ninth Avenue NE say they were all sexually assaulted by the same man. They say the suspect groped all three before running away across the Trans Canada Highway.

Suspect description:

• White
• About 6′ tall
• Medium build
• Not clean-shaven
• Raspy voice
• Wearing a surgical mask, dark hoodie, baggy sweatpants, blue and green sunglasses
