RCMP nab break-in suspect in downtown Kamloops compound

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Mounties nabbed a potential break-and-enter suspect in the act Tuesday morning (Apr. 12).
According to a news release from Cst. Crystal Evelyn, RCMP members were called to a locked compound in the 700-block of Lorne Street at about 3:50 a.m. A witness had spotted a man inside the compound.
Though he tried to hide between two vehicles, officers were able to quickly locate and arrest him.
The suspect was wanted on five unendorsed warrants out of the Trail and Boundary areas. RCMP will hold him in custody for his next court appearance.
