KAMLOOPS — Cars, buildings and heavy machinery continue to be found in B.C. waterways, approximately five months after intense rainfall caused flooding across the Lower Mainland and Interior regions.

That’s according to a tweet from B.C. Spill Response.

“To date, more than 270 items of debris have been identified and recovery efforts are underway,” read the tweet.

They say a backhoe along with woody debris was removed from the Thompson River and multiple vehicles, a building and a garage were removed from the Nicola River this week.
