RCMP say owner of torched car uncooperative with Peterbilt crash investigation

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP said the registered owner of a car that crashed through a fence at the Peterbilt compound early Sunday morning is being uncooperative.
In a statement to CFJC Today, Cst. Crystal Evelyn provided more details on the event.
Around 3:35 a.m. on Sunday (March 20) a frontline officer observed smoke across the highway from Versatile Drive. A man also approached the officer and told her a car was on fire.
At the Peterbilt compound, the officer found a sedan fully engulfed in flames. Kamloops Fire Rescue arrived and extinguished the flames.
