Mar 16, 2022 | 7:42 AM

SALMON ARM, B.C. — Drivers traveling through the Shuswap are told to be prepared for poor visibility and slipper roads Wednesday (March 16) morning.

Environment Canada says freezing fog was observed in the Shuswap, meaning visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. If visibility is reduced, drivers are asked to turn on their lights and maintain a safe following distance.

Environment Canada says the freezing fog is expected to clear later in the morning.
