COVID-19 outbreaks in Williams Lake, 100 Mile House come to an end

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A pair of COVID-19 outbreaks at Cariboo healthcare facilities have been declared over.
In an email to CFJC Today, Interior Health says the outbreak at Williams Lake Seniors Village was declared over Sunday (Mar. 13). First declared on Feb. 17, the outbreak ended with 62 cases in total.
Monday, IH declared the outbreak at Fischer Place in 100 Mile House over. It ended with 40 cases after first being declared on Feb. 18.
There are three other active outbreaks in Interior Health, including two in the Thompson-Shuswap area.
