WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Interior Health is warning Williams Lake-area residents about poor air quality.
IH says, until the weather pattern changes, an Air Quality Advisory will remain in place for Williams Lake “due to high concentrations of fine particulate matter” in the air.
In its statement, IH says the poor air quality is a special concern for those with asthma, COPD, heart disease and diabetes, among other conditions.
IH is also banning open burning through the day Thursday (Mar. 10). That prohibition comes to an end Friday morning at 9:00.
