Ninety cases, one death associated with COVID-19 outbreaks in Kamloops healthcare facilities

KAMLOOPS — Interior Health says there are a total of 90 COVID-19 cases connected to the three ongoing healthcare facility outbreaks in Kamloops.

In an email to CFJC Today, IH confirms there have been 43 cases at Pine Grove Care Centre — 12 staff cases and 31 resident cases. One resident has died of the virus at Pine Grove.

At Overlander Residential Care, there have been three staff cases and 26 resident cases.

Meantime, Ponderosa Lodge has seen 18 resident cases. There have been no positive tests from the staff.
