COVID-19 outbreak at Nicola Meadows in Merritt

MERRITT, B.C. — A second Merritt facility is in the midst of a COVID-19 outbreak.

Interior Health says an outbreak was declared at Nicola Meadows, an assisted living facility, on Friday (Feb. 4).

The other ongoing outbreak in the community is at Gillis House and was declared on Jan. 22.

There are outbreaks ongoing at Pine Grove Care Centre, Overlander Residential Care and Ponderosa Lodge in Kamloops.

In total, Interior Health has 21 COVID-19 outbreaks active as of Monday (Feb. 7).
