Kamloops Film Festival gets ready to raise the curtain on its 25th season

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Film Festival will be back this year for its 25th anniversary.

A red carpet will lead crowds to more than 25 films, followed by a closing party and exciting new food.

The Kamloops Film Festival will take place from Mar. 3 to 12.

“Sure, it may look a little different from past years: while we won’t rub shoulders as enthusiastically (or, at all) at the VIP party; shake the hands of the new friends we make at the opening mingle; laugh with abandon or uncovered mouths at the beer, whiskey and wine tastings; pass around the popcorn while watching KISS (Kamloops Independent Short Shorts); or watch the sweat of an aggressively-dancing stranger sprinkle the communal snacks at the wrap-up party…” said KFF in an email.

“We WILL be able to once again offer these events and opportunities to bring film-lovers together. Just… a little more distanced, and a lot safer. COVID-19 protocols and current regulations will be in place,” the organization continued.
