Ponderosa Lodge declares COVID-19 outbreak

KAMLOOPS — A third Kamloops long-term care facility is dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak.

According to the Interior Health tracker, an outbreak was declared on the third floor of Ponderosa Lodge earlier Thursday (Feb. 3).

This is the second COVID-19 outbreak at Ponderosa in the past two months. The first was declared on Dec. 2, 2021.

Ponderosa joins Pine Grove Care Centre and Overlander Residential Care with COVID-19 outbreaks ongoing.
