CFJC Boogie the Bridge is back after two-year hiatus
KAMLOOPS — Boogie the Bridge is back! Organizers are gathered at Colombo Lodge Tuesday (Feb.1) morning to announce that the run will return after a two-year hiatus.
“We are so excited and very, very grateful to be back. We’ll be the first event to be back, we’ll be very safe. Just to have that amazing community come together to connect, heal, be kind, and of course run or walk, or stroll or dance, whatever makes your heart sing,” Boogie the Bridge founder Jo Berry says.
Berry’s goal is to encourage people to get out and get active, which will bolster their mental well-being. She started the initiative 25 years ago after a life-changing experience.
