SALMON ARM, B.C. — Salmon Arm RCMP are asking people to be on the lookout for a man who was recently charged for sexual interference and sexual assault on a minor.

Police say 40-year-old Caleb Gerbrandt and his two daughters – 14-year-old Eliyah and 13-year-old Avery Gerbrandt – went missing from his home in Salmon Arm on Jan. 21. Both daughters were to be staying at their grandparent’s residence in Salmon Arm.

“We believe that Caleb is actively evading police,” S/Sgt. Scott West says. “He is required to abide by a curfew and be inside his Salmon Arm residence every night, a condition which he is now breaching. A warrant has now been issued for his arrest.”

Caleb Gerbrandt and his daughters are believed to be traveling in a 2006 Grey Dodge Grand Caravan with B.C. license plate NE961N and may possibly be heading to the Vancouver area or Vancouver Island.
