Quesnel man wanted on Canada wide warrant

QUESNEL, B.C. — Police in Quesnel are asking for public assistance in locating a man wanted for a parole violation. 33-year-old Robert Hovestad is also wanted on a Canada wide warrant.
Hovestad is described as:
- Caucasian man
- Uses the alias Shawn
- 6’ 5 (194 cms)
- 200 lbs (90 kgs)
- Brown hair
- Hazel eyes
He should not be approached if seen as he is thought to be armed and dangerous. Anyone that sees him should call 9-1-1 immediately. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Quesnel RCMP at (250) 992-9211 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 222-8477.
