Dua Lipa Next Album Almost Done

Dua Lipa says that a lot of her next album has already been recorded and that “it’s probably not” what her fans want to hear.

She told the Wall Street Journal that she’s taking her sound in a new direction. Her most recent, 80’s disco-inspired, Future Nostalgia won her a Grammy and dominated the Billboard charts.

She said, “I’ve done a big chunk of writing: It’s starting to take shape. I’m always going to make pop music, but it has its own unique sound.”

She made no mention of a release date, but did say she in no rush.
