Two gyms in Kamloops issued fines after alleged breach of public health orders
KAMLOOPS — Two fitness facilities in Kamloops have now been fined after allegedly breaching COVID-19 public health orders.
In an email, Kamloops RCMP’s Cst. Crystal Evelyn says on Wednesday (Jan. 5), the detachment received a request to assist Interior Health Enforcement Officers with two local businesses allegedly in breach of public health orders.
The following day (Jan. 6), police went with an Interior Health Enforcement Officer and a Kamloops Community Services Officer to one gym along the 900 block of 8th Street, and another along the 1800 block of the Princeton-Kamloops Highway.
