BARRIERE — Barriere RCMP are urging people to not leave their cars unattended with the keys in the ignition after a truck was stolen from a gas station Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 4).

Police say the owner of a truck left it unattended as he went inside the gas station. When he came out moments later, the truck was gone.

The suspect was seen on camera walking towards the Esso gas station on 397 Russell St. wearing a black hoodie and a high-visibility vest. They removed the gas pump and got in the truck before heading southbound on Highway 5.
