Former Tourism Kamloops CEO enters new role as Western Canada Theatre Board President

KAMLOOPS —Western Canada Theatre (WCT) says a familiar face will take over the helm of its Board of Directors. Former Tourism Kamloops CEO Beverley DeSantis has been named as the new President of the WCT Board.
DeSantis has already been serving as a director on the board for the past four years, and succeeds longtime board president Tim Rodgers.
“It has been an honour and a pleasure working with the WCT Board and team for the past several years,” DeSantis states in a release, “I look forward to welcoming folks back into our venues, creating a sustainable future for theatre enthusiasts for generations to come.”
Prior to the new role, DeSantis served as the Tourism Kamloops CEO since 2016, with a focus on building community connections, and local tourism development.
