One Kamloops man charged, another sent to hospital in alleged motel stabbing

KAMLOOPS — A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and another was sent to jail after a reported stabbing Sunday morning.
Kamloops RCMP responded to a motel on the 600-block of Columbia Street West where a man was found with stab wounds. Police say a 28-year-old Kamloops man was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault. He remains in custody.
RCMP add the two men were known to one another.
