George Venator of Savona passed away on October 12, 2021, at 73 years of age.

He is survived by his loving wife Linda, stepchildren Jamie (Michelle) Nicholson of Maple Ridge, Bill Willey of Coquitlam, Kelly (Rob) Nicholson of Alberta, his much-cherished granddaughter Kass (Alex) Goodyer, Kait and Michael Nicholson, Kierra and Skylar Willey, Julian, Kierra and Trelane Wuzinski, sister and brother, Emily (Glenn) Hamilton (nee Venator) John Venator as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews in Ontario.

George came to BC for a visit from Ontario and after discovering river rafting, he never left. He spent all the time he could with buddies at Kumsheen, while working with highways in Lytton. George saw the beauty of nature in everything, if he saw it for the first time or the 100th time. Kids were always drawn to him, and he taught them all about nature in a way they understood. He will be missed forever by those who had the pleasure to know him.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring at Kumsheen Rafting.
