Coquihalla snowfall warning issued

KAMLOOPS – Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla Highway between Merritt and Hope.

Forecasters expect the highway will see a long period of snowfall which could amount to 25 cm by Wednesday (Nov. 10) morning.

The snow is a result of a frontal system that is making its way across British Columbia.

The national weather office says motorists should expect to see the heaviest snow tonight (Nov. 9).
