More COVID-19 exposures at Royal Inland Hospital

KAMLOOPS – For the second time in a week, Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) in Kamloops could be dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak.
In an email to CFJC Today, Interior Health confirmed it is investigating additional exposures at the hospital.
Last week, an outbreak was declared in 5 South at RIH. By midweek, 17 patients and 3 staff had tested positive.
The situation is expected to be updated Monday by Interior Health officials.
