KAMLOOPS — The rosters for the U17 Capital City Challenge have been named, and Blazers defenseman Kaden Hammell has made the list.

The soon-to-be 17 year old is one of 66 players that will be split into three Canadian teams, which will square off against the women’s national team from Nov. 26 to Dec. 1 in preparation for the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing in February.

Hammell has played in five of the 10 games with the Blazers this season.

Kamloops native Tanner Molendyk, who plays for the Saskatoon Blades, also cracked the roster.
