Interior Health investigates COVID-19 cluster at RiverBend independent living apartments in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Interior Health confirms it is investigating a cluster of COVID-19 cases at RiverBend in Brocklehurst.
RiverBend is a privately-owned independent living facility and thus is not considered a healthcare facility, such as an assisted living or long-term care home.
In an email to CFJC Today, IH says all group programs and services have been halted while the investigation runs its course.
Family members who have contacted CFJC Today note there may be as many as a dozen or more cases within the complex.
