Man arrested after reported robbery in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP arrested a man after a reported robbery involving what looked to be a firearm.

Police attended a business in the 200-block of Victoria Street Friday (Oct. 22) evening but were unable to immediately locate the man. RCMP say the man who is known to police was arrested the next day.

The investigation is ongoing and charge recommendations are anticipated for assessment.
