WolfPack soccer: men playoff bound, women end season on winning note
PRINCE GEORGE — Both Thompson Rivers University (TRU) WolfPack soccer clubs wrapped up their regular seasons in Prince George this weekend.
The men are playoff bound. The WolfPack clean sheeted the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) Timberwolves 1-0 on Saturday (Oct. 23) but fell 1-0 to UNBC on Sunday (Oct. 24).
Sunday’s loss proved to be costly. Instead of a home playoff match at Hillside Stadium, the WolfPack will play the Canada West quarter-finals on the road.
As the WolfPack finish the regular season with a 4-3-5 record – good for 17 points and third in the West Division – they will visit Mount Royal in Calgary.
