Clearwater RCMP searching for missing man whose rental truck was found in East Blackpool

KAMLOOPS — Clearwater RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating a man whose rental Ford pickup truck was reported abandoned in East Blackpool

Daniel Ritchie, 35, had his truck found about 14 kilometres up 1130 Forest Service Road, off Dunn Lake Road, and was last heard from on Oct. 13.

Police say Ritchie’s regular vehicle is in Kamloops for repairs. His rental truck was handed to him Oct. 8 and is due to be returned this weekend. RCMP say he did have some days off, but is expected to return to work in Valemount on Monday (Oct. 18).

Ritchie is described as a Caucasian male who’s approximately 5-8 tall and 176 lbs with brown hair and eyes.
