Judge jails Nanaimo father for 8 years after sexually assaulting young sons

NANAIMO — A father who sexually abused his two young sons has learned his punishment for his deplorable crimes.
The offender, who can’t be named in order to protect his sons, was found guilty by Judge Justine Saunders in June of two counts of sexual interference of a person under 16 and an invitation to sexual touching charge.
He watched via video, emotionless from jail, as his 8 year jail sentence was handed down on Wednesday, Oct. 13. in provincial court in Nanaimo.
