KAMLOOPS — Operation Red Nose is operating its ride service in Kamloops for the 2021 holiday season.

Each local Operation Red Nose organization made its decision per its situation and capacity to comply with the current sanitary requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Details will be presented when the campaign officially launches on Nov. 2. Until then, Operation Red Nose says it will closely follow the situation as it evolves and will comply with required sanitary measures during the campaign.

“2021 marks the return of Operation Red Nose on the road with a safe ride campaign that will provide British Colombians with one more option to get home safe,” Operation Red Nose Executive Director Anne-Marie Audet says. “Operation Red Nose shows its determination and great capacity to adapt to new situations. We are happy to see that the local organizations who will take part this year are enthusiastic and ready to make the campaign a successful one, once again.”

Operation Red Nose is a non-profit organization that promotes responsible behaviour to help prevent impaired driving. The organization provides a volunteer chauffeur service, the benefits of which are redistributed to help fund local youth and amateur sports initiatives.
