RCMP seek tips after swastika spray-painted on Tk’emlups billboard promoting COVID-19 measures

TK’EMLUPS — Tk’emlups Rural RCMP are investigating hateful graffiti sprayed onto a billboard.
The detachment received a report of “anti-COVID messaging and a swastika” sprayed onto a billboard promoting safety measures.
The billboard had been rented by the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc and Qwemtsin Health Society, and stands along Highway 5 just south of Paul Lake Road.
It’s believed the vandalism took place sometime between Satruday afternoon and Monday morning (Sept. 20).
