Xget’tem Trail temporarily closed after ‘suspicious object’ found

KAMLOOPS — The Xget’tem Trail in Peterson Creek Park is temporarily closed after police received a report of a suspicious object.

Kamloops RCMP said the trail is closed as of Saturday (Sept. 11) from the top near Sa-Hali Secondary to the bottom where the trail begins.

The public is asked to avoid the area and will be updated once it is open again.
