KAMLOOPS — The Corryn Brown rink from Kamloops is off to a winning start at the Saville Shootout in Edmonton — the second event of the Alberta Curling Series.
Team Brown defeated Claire Booth from Red Deer 9-2 in the first draw.
The Brown rink won the opening event of the series at Leduc in august.
This will be their final event before travelling to Ottawa in two weeks for the five team direct entry berth to the Roar of the Rings Olympic Curling trials in Saskatoon in late November.
