B.C. reports 814 new COVID-19 cases, Interior Health sees 272
KAMLOOPS — Interior Health accounted for more than a quarter of B.C.’s new COVID-19 cases.
On Wednesday (Sept. 8), the B.C. government reported 814 new cases of COVID-19, with 272 of them in Interior Health. Provincially, there are 5,550 (up by 85) active cases of COVID-19, with 1,793 (up by 79) within Interior Health.
Of the provincial active cases, 261 individuals are in hospital (up by six), with 129 in intensive care (up by three). The remaining people are recovering at home in self-isolation.
No new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, leaving the provincial total at 1,842.
