Kamloops Seniors Village grows to nine cases, one death

KAMLOOPS — The COVID-19 outbreak at Kamloops Seniors Village has grown.

An emailed update from Interior Health Thursday (Sept. 2) states the outbreak, which cropped up last week, has expanded to nine cases — two staff members and seven residents of the Aberdeen facility.

One resident has died of the virus.

As of Wednesday, there were 19 COVID-19 outbreaks at B.C. healthcare facilities, including 12 within Interior Health.
