Man arrested, accused of throwing eggs at Kamloops demonstrators

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man was arrested Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 1) after allegedly throwing eggs at the throng of protesters outside of Royal Inland Hospital.
In a news release, spokesperson Cst. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened at about 12:30 p.m., before the event officially began.
The man allegedly threw eggs and demonstrators and others associated with the event.
RCMP arrested the man, later releasing him with a date to appear in court to answer to a charge of assault with a weapon.
