Former Kamloops councillor Tom Wallace dies

KAMLOOPS — A former Kamloops community builder has died.
Tom Wallace passed away last week at the age of 95.
Prior to Kamloops amalgamation, Wallace served as a town councillor in Valleyview. After the amalgamation in 1972, Wallace served on Kamloops council from 1972 to 1974.
An agrologist by profession, Wallace was a longtime supporter of junior hockey in Kamloops, having held Western Hockey League season tickets since the days of the Jr. Oilers in 1982.
