TNRD lifts evacuation order for 65 properties near Tremont Creek fire, including Tunkwa Lake

KAMLOOPS — One of the final evacuation orders related to the Tremont Creek wildfire west of Kamloops has been lifted.
According to the Thompson-Nicola Regional District, residents of 65 properties between Savona and Logan Lake, including in the Tunkwa Lake area, can now return home.
The properties are listed here:
- 380 Guichon Creek FSR;
- 5860 to 5900 Haywood-Farmer Rd;
- 280 to 640 Tunkwa Lake Rd;
- 1140 to 7923 Tunkwa Lake Rd;
- any other properties identified on the map below:
