It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kostantinos “Gus” Krokos of Oktonia, Greece, on August 22nd, 2021, at 76 years of age. Gus is survived by his children John Krokos of Kamloops, and Zoe (Ernie) Ware of Kamloops, his grandchild Natia Ware, niece Soula and nephew Spiro, as well as many cousins in Greece.

Gus came to Canada at a young age, and started to work in restaurants which led him down the road of many successful restaurants in Alberta and British Columbia. He loved his two kids, John & Zoe, and he also got the pleasure of being a grandpa (Papo) for 2 years to Natia. On his down time, he loved to play cards or visit the casino for some slots. He will be greatly missed by family & friends from close, and afar.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Peter Hanley the staff at Kamloops Hospice.

There will be no formal ceremony taking place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gus’ name may be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association, 72 Whiteshield Crescent, Kamloops, BC.
