TNRD gives all clear for 435 properties near White Rock Lake wildfire, including near Pritchard and Monte Creek

KAMLOOPS — A substantial number of properties impacted by the White Rock Lake wildfire have been given all clear status.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District rescinded an evacuation alert for 435 properties, including near Pritchard, Monte Creek and rural Barnhartvale, Wednesday (Aug. 18) afternoon, as the White Rock Lake wildfire no longer poses an imminent risk to those residents.
